I have agreed to speak to Blacon Manager on Friday just incase weather changes - if game is called off then i will communicate via text should this be the case. If yu do nt here anything via text then all is well and game is on.

Saturday

Guysjust a very quick well done to everybody for last Saturday's performance, a true show of determination and team spirit. Unbeaten in 8 games which is something to be very proud of and wel deserved.

 

This Saturday will be first game against team from another group who also did well so lets approach it with same mental attititude as we did against Malpas on and off the pitch (parents).

 

Game is scheduled for 10.30 KO so normal 1/2 hr arrival before please at Christleton Primary.

 

Can i please just remind all to make sure that players are appropriately dressed ( it will be cold).

 

Should for any reason pitch be un playable then i will text to let you know as soon as i can.

 

 

Oh just a very quick thank you for all for taking turn in coffe rota, it is so much easier second time round and special thankyou for Claire for fab bacon sandwiches to finish final game of group stage.

Yellow League title decider this Sat against Malpas at HOME 10 for 10.30 KO. Having received several calls from the Malpas Manager already to check that we are ok for game they are obviously seeking revenge. A draw will secure top place but personally wont settle for anything less than a win i am afraid.

 

So no sleep overs, parties or excuses this Friday please ......................bring it on.

Update

 Hope everybody is enjoying the break, just thought i would let you know that next training session will be 10th November at Upton all weather complex starting at 5.45 for 1hour, trainers and warm clothing essential.Each session will cost team £15 so will be looking for contribution of £2 per player please.

 

Our next Game is not until the 13th Nvember against Groves away. I will confirm details of time and venue on the 10th.

PS Did a home visit today and just to put everyone's mind at rest Adam is on road to full recovery - he told me that he will be back to  full fitness once he has finished off all his sweets. Get Well Soon Adam.

3 OUT OF 2 !!!!!!!!

The standard of coffee along with the distribution across the park of a selection of chocolate biscuits continues with thanks to Jan and Claire for this weeks debut performance. I am not sure if the quality of the coffee has anything to do with the results but i have decided to monitor both just in case.

 

Not sure who has got next week cooffe challenge but thanks to Jan and Claire fo kicking this off and believe me as the pressure builds and the winter draws in you will appreciate it a whole lot more.

Well done to everyone for another excellent TEAM performance and 4-2 away victory against Newton Athletic away from home. Tempo of game really improved with the new 3 second rule, unsettling newton every time they took possession 'WELL DONE'.

 

We will re group this Friday at 5.30 for another tactical session by Master Lee in preperation for our away fixture against Malpass Reds.

Venue is Carden Park Hotel ( pitch just on right after gate house)

Jets Start Season on Ful Throttle

Afc Waverton 3 -  1 Vicars Cross Rangers

 

Jets Played at full throttle on their opening game at Home, despite some early knocks in the first quarter. It was a fantastic performance from all the team who played with space and poise. The team dominated the majority of play throughout, testing Vicars defence to the full .

 

Well done to everyone

 

Training will be at 5.30 Friday17 Sept in preperation for away fixture against Newton Athletic Eagles 10 for 10.30 KO venue to be confirmed via Blogg.
